While the Honker Company "Head Quarters" is on the campus of YCHS, this program is open to EVERY high school student within the Yuba City Unified School District. Our unit is made up of about 50% students from River Valley HS and 50% from Yuba City HS.

The choice to participate in NJROTC is wise a decision in the shaping of the all-around high school experience. Students that join NJROTC learn:

· Leadership & Teamwork,

· Self-discipline & Determination,

· Goal Setting & Task Accomplishment

· Health, Fitness, & Nutrition

· American History & Civic Responsibility.

These character traits are the pillars to success beyond high school are necessary in both college and the workforce.
